Sinds 1 januari 2018, ELWA het ELWA-systeem ondersteunt ons bestaande gasverwarmingssysteem in een voormalige dorpsschool met warmwaterbereiding. Naast de warmte van de fossiele brander worden nu ook vier volwassenen en drie kinderen voorzien van CO2-vrij warm water. Via de verwarmingselementen van het apparaat wordt de energie rechtstreeks in een 500 liter combi-opslagtank geïnjecteerd, waarvan de inhoud 150 liter warm water is. Extra warmtewisselaars, leidingen, pompen, enz. zijn niet nodig. Bovendien elimineert de ELWA ook de noodzaak voor jaarlijks onderhoud van het antivriesvloeistof, zoals bij zonnewarmtesystemen. Het jaarlijkse rendement van ca. 1.700 kWh kan voor 100% in het huis zelf worden gebruikt en vermindert direct de belasting van het gasverwarmingssysteem.
