Reduxi now compatible with my-PV

Smart hot water generation with PV surplus: Reduxi is now fully compatible with my-PV devices. This enables highly efficient use of surplus solar power – for example, for domestic hot water heating with the AC ELWA 2 or for space heating support with the AC•THOR or AC•THOR 9s.

What makes Reduxi special

Reduxi FlexCo develops AI-based software and hardware solutions for intelligent energy management. The platform dynamically connects and controls solar plants, battery storage systems, heat pumps, EV charging stations, and other smart components. With advanced algorithms, production, consumption, and storage are automated in real time. This reduces electricity costs through load shifting, peak shaving, and smart heating. Reduxi supports over 250 devices from more than 50 manufacturers – and now, my-PV has been added to the list of mutually compatible partners.

Through direct communication between the Reduxi Controller and my-PV power controllers, the current PV surplus is detected in real time and automatically routed to consumers for heat generation. Control is precise, seamless, and demand-driven – without the need for external cloud services.

A key advantage: with Reduxi, users can prioritize where their solar energy should flow first – for example, to the EV charger, battery, heat pump, or heating rod. These priorities can be flexibly adjusted depending on the season or consumption habits. This way, self-consumption is optimized according to individual needs.

In addition, external factors such as the spot market, weather forecasts, and electricity from an energy community can also be integrated. Especially in winter, buffer tanks can be heated when prices are low – or even negative – instead of during costly morning and evening hours. If a PV system with storage is available, the entire setup is intelligently coordinated and cost-optimized.

The interface is easily set up via Modbus TCP. Configuration can be completed directly in the Reduxi app or web dashboard.

Which my-PV solutions can be integrated?

Alongside our AC ELWA 2, the AC•THOR and AC•THOR 9s are also compatible with Reduxi. A detailed guide on compatibility, benefits, and integration can be found on the website.

With Reduxi + my-PV, energy becomes even smarter – local, sustainable, and completely free of ongoing costs. This increases self-consumption, reduces operating costs, and protects the environment.
